The Celtic Tavern opened its doors for the first time Memorial Day weekend of 2000. The small Irish pub served up hot soups and sandwiches in a comfortable environment located in historic Olde Town Conyers. By the fall of 2001, the previous owner saw the need to expand due the success of the restaurant. The Celtic Tavern, Irish Pub and Eatery was born.
With an expanded full service menu bar, more and more customers poured in. It has become a favorite place for locals and visitors alike.
A co-owner is a CIA (Culinary Institute of America) graduate with culinary flare that brings a unique touch to the Celtic's menu.

Spring Shoot Out - Final Results
The Grand Finale of the spring shootout 2013 was one of the best ever.
Congratulations are due to all of the performers. They were at the absolute top of their games. A variety of strengths was on display. Some performers offered especially stunning vocals, others showed special instrumental talent, and others were true crowd pleasers. The four independent judges had a very difficult job.
Special congratulations go to first-place finisher Gabe Long, and runner-up Josh Leonard.
The diversity in performers and their unique talents mirrored the diversity of the friendly crowd at the Celtic Tavern. A common refrain heard was "we don't need to drive to Atlanta to hear good live music, when we have this right in Olde Town at the Celtic."
